DOUBLE-D VH AEGROSCHOT Z

ABOUT

The sire of this colt is the exceptionally promising Drummer 2000 TN Z. Drummer is a genetic gem: his sire is the progenitor Diamant de Semilly, his dam, China Touch Hero, has produced other successful showjumpers besides Drummer, such as Akarad Hero, Esprit de la Roque, Don’t Touch Tiji Hero, Jaguar de Tiji, Diamond Touch and King Of China Hero. Under the saddle of Kars Bonhof, Drummer completed a clear run in the KWPN stallion competition for 5-year-olds, with the icing on the cake being the winner of the overall standings. Drummer managed to repeat last year’s stellar performance this year, this time with Willem Greve.

Through his dam, Could Be Blue V/H Aegroschot Z, he is part of the highly regarded BWP lineage 102, a damline featuring numerous showjumpers for top-level sport. Could Be Blue’s dam, Usaura-S, plays a significant role in this, particularly as the dam of Verdine-S Z (winner of the 5* Nations Cup in Rome), Maya-S (5*, Michael Hughes and Daniel Deusser), Amaai-S (1m50 level) and Bonheur-S (winner of a five-star class in Madrid). This lineage includes even more 1m60 performers, such as Forlap, with whom Grégory Wathelet won the 5* Grand Prix in La Coruña.
