UBALOU DE BARRYLOU Z

ABOUT

His sire, Ube VD Bisschop, is a son of the well-breeding stallion Comme d’Api VD Hacienda Z out of In Love JW van de Moerhoeve. In Love, in turn, is a daughter of Ischgl de Muze, who is the dam of showjumping stars such as Mumbai van de Moerhoeve, Opium JW van de Moerhoeve TN and Olleke Bolle JW VD Moerhoeve. Eureka van ’t Roosakker, the dam of Ischgl, won several 5* classes and goes back to the damline of, among others, Ta Belle van Sombeke. Ube VD Bisschop was a finalist in the stallion competition as both a four- and five-year-old, each time under the saddle of Ben De Craene.

Ubalou De Barrylou Z’s damline is a mouth-watering one, as she goes back to Liscalgot, who distinguished herself at the very highest level and continues to make her mark in top level-sport through her offspring. Dermott Lennon and Liscalgot have an impressive record of achievements. Just consider the following outstanding performances: individual gold at the World Equestrian Games in Jerez de la Frontera, team gold at the European Championship in Arnhem, winner of the World Cup in Dortmund, the Stockholm GP and the Nations Cup in Dublin. As a broodmare, she produced several showjumpers from the 1m50-1m60 circuit, including Calgot Pleasure, Calgot Hero and Vivalgot. She is also the granddam of three 1m60 level performers and several other international showjumpers.
