WINDBREAKER VAN SELDSUM

ABOUT

His sire, Point Break, is one of the best showjumpers in the world. He has earned over 1,7 million euros in prize money to date. At the recent World Equestrian Games in Aachen, he won team bronze and finished 19th individually. This year, he also won the 5* GP of Rotterdam and finished second in the 5* GP of Windsor, both times with Ben Maher in the saddle. Some other highlights of his career include: 2nd place in the World Cup final in Basel and the 5* GP of London, and a win in the Grand Prix of Wellington. This speaks volumes.

An absolute world-class damline! This colt comes from an exceptionally proven performance family. His dam, Lynncara SMH, jumped at 1m40 level herself and is also a half-sister to several international showjumpers (including Sherlock CCDK, Inancara and Dayton P) as well as to the approved stallion Massimo SMH. The real eye-catcher in this pedigree is great-granddam Zancara. She emerged as a true foundation mare and produced no fewer than five international showjumpers at 1m60 level, three of which were approved as breeding stallions. The absolute standout is Bubalu VDL, who made history at the highest level under Jur Vrieling with a win in the Nations Cup final in Barcelona, team gold at the WEG in Caen and team silver at the Olympic Games in London. The next generation also confirms the class. Zancara’s dam produced, among others, the approved sport stallion N-Aldato, who won team gold under the saddle of Emile Hendrix at the European Championship in La Baule.
