CARTAGO VDH Z

ABOUT

The sire of this colt is the Chacco-Blue son Chaclot, who, under the saddle of Riccardo Pisani, can look back on a successful sporting career at the very highest level, including in Sankt-Gallen, Calgary, La Baule, Aachen (11^th in the 5* GP) and Hickstead. The duo also performed very well at the European Championship in Rotterdam and represented Italy numerous times in a valuable manner at Nations Cups.

His granddam, Atureusa S, achieved multiple victories in international two-star classes and produced the international showjumpers Defender VDS (also approved as a breeding stallion) and Devine VDS. Furthermore, Atureusa S is a half-sister to, among others, the approved stallion Etoulon VDL (with whom Jur Vrieling excelled at 1m60 level), Dereusa Z (1m60 level), Lareusa S, Time-Breaker S and It’s A Walk In The Park. They all belong to the renowned, well-bred Teusi lineage, a breeding family that produces horses for top-level sport generation after generation.
