WORNARINA Z (ET)

ABOUT

Ermitage Kalone (°2014) won the Belgian senior showjumping championship in 2023 in a masterful manner. During the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, he performed outstanding – considering his age – securing an individual 20^th place in the final. A year later, he has gone one step further: he won the 5* GP in Paris, secured the team gold medal, and took individual bronze at the European Championship in La Coruña. Meanwhile, several offspring from his first vintage are performing at international 1m45 level.

Her dam, Fornarina Z, is a granddaughter of top progenitor Carthago Z. Fornarina herself jumped at 1m50-level under the saddles of Dave Maarse and Britt van Erp, thereby bringing proven sporting talent to the pedigree. Her granddam, Wendy, is the granddam of the international showjumpers Irmani du Cache Pot Z and Cibeau du Cache Pot Z, as well as the international dressage horse Cerano Gold. Moreover, this traditionally Oldenburg lineage (number 53) guarantees versatile international sport quality, featuring not only international showjumpers but also successful eventers and international Grand Prix dressage horses, including Hansel and Lindor’s Finest.
