DENNIS BLACK MAGIC VAN LOHEKY (ET)

ABOUT

His sire, Uricas VD Kattevennen, is a showjumping phenomenon. In 2019, he ranked 5^th in the final of the World Championship for 7-year-olds in Lanaken. In partnership with Harrie Smolders, Uricas successfully performed at the highest level. Some highlights: the victory in the 5* Grand Prix in Sankt-Gallen and Riesenbeck, a 14^th place individual and 4^th place with the Dutch team at the Olympic Games in Paris, and silver in the Nations Cup final in Barcelona. Meanwhile, Callie Schott is writing a sequel to the success story, including a second place in the 5* 1m60 Grand Prix of Thermal.

His dam, To Be Special van Loheky, was an eyecatcher at a young age. At four years old, she was a finalist at the Belgian Championship in Gesves, and as a five-year-old, a finalist at the Belgian Cup. As a broodmare, she has already produced her business card, specifically as the dam of the BWP approved stallion Watch Me van Loheky. She is a half-sister to the international showjumper Qatar JW van ’t Meulenhof. Their dam, Mylady van ’t Meulenhof, jumped at 1m45 level, their granddam Iron Lady van ’t Meulenhof at 1m50 level. The next link in the pedigree is the 5* competition mare Narcotique de Muze IV, herself a daughter of Quidam de Revel out of Qerly Chin, a Chin Chin daughter who forms the foundation of one of the best damlines in the world.
